Can I get my passport today?

Full 10 year passports are produced by the Passport Office in Dublin and the Consulate in Sydney cannot print them.

In cases of genuine emergency, the Consulate can produce emergency passports which are non-biometric and are of limited validity. An additional fee does apply.

Emergency passports can only be issued in cases of genuine, urgent international travel and cannot be issued for holiday or identification purposes. If you are required to travel urgently and your current passport is out of date or does not have a full 6 months validity on it, please contact the Consulate to discuss the options available.

Please note that proof of planned international travel will be sought prior to the issuance of any emergency passport.
