Fianáin

Úsáidimid fianáin ionas go bhfaighidh tú an taithí is fearr ar ár láithreán agus comhlíonaimid ár gceanglais Cosanta Sonraí ag an am céanna. Lean ort gan do chuid socruithe a athrú, agus gheobhaidh tú fianáin, nó athraigh do chuid socruithe fianáin ag aon tráth.

Níl an leagan Gaeilge ar fáil go fóill, más maith leat an leagan Béarla a léamh féach thíos.

New Ambassadors present Credentials

Their Excellencies, the Ambassadors of the Republic of Korea and the Kingdom of Thailand presented their Letters of Credence to the President at Áras an Uachtaráin yesterday (Thursday 28 June).

H.E. Mr. Hae-yun Park, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, was accompanied by Mr. Sungsoo Kim, Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission.

H.E. Mr. Pasan Teparak, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Paradee Teparak, and by Ms. Duansib Pathamasoonthorn, First Secretary at the Embassy.

Mr. John Perry, T.D., Minister for Small Business at the Department of Enterprise, Jobs and Innovation, represented the Government at the ceremony.

The following were also present:  Mr. Loughlin Quinn, Deputy Secretary-General to the President; Ms. Cliona Manahan, Regional Director, Asia Pacific, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Mr. Joe Brennan, Deputy Chief of Protocol, and Ms. Marion O’Donnell, Assistant Chief of Protocol, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The Ambassadors were escorted to and from Áras an Uachtaráin by an Escort of Honour consisting of a motorcycle detachment drawn from the 2nd Cavalry Squadron, Cathal Brugha Barracks, Dublin, under the command of Lieutenant Fergal Reilly.

A Guard of Honour was provided at Áras an Uachtaráin by the 1st Mechanised Infantry Company, Defence Forces Training Centre, The Curragh, Co. Kildare, under the command of Lieutenant Stephen Cunningham.    

Captain Fergal Carroll conducted the Army No. 1 Band.
