Statement on missile attacks in Saudi Arabia
Statement
30 March 2020Ireland condemns the missile attacks on 28 March, originating from areas of Yemen under Houthi control, which targeted cities in Saudi Arabia. Indiscriminate attacks against civilians and civilian areas are completely unacceptable, and are contrary to international law.
Ireland encourages all parties to the conflict in Yemen to heed the call from the UN Secretary General for a ceasefire to facilitate the fight against COVID-19.
