A Message from the Consul General, Shane Stephens

On 27 July 2015, Shane Stephens took up duty as Ireland’s Consul General in Atlanta. The Consulate General covers the Southeast states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

A Chairde, dear Friends,

Welcome to the website of the Consulate General of Ireland in Atlanta. I hope that you will find our website and Twitter account informative. 

For more than 300 years, people from Ireland and people of Irish and Scots-Irish descent have contributed to the great achievements and special character of this part of the United States. Through the Consulate, we pay tribute to this legacy, while working to support and develop Ireland’s contemporary relations with the Southeast.
