Digital Irish

Digital Irish is a non-profit organization of tech and digital media folk from Ireland and Irish communities around the world. Headquartered in New York City, #NYDI was founded by Feargall Kenny in 2013, and has subsequently grown to over 2,000 members and made countless valuable connections so far.

Their goal is to connect the Digital Irish community globally; to promote the expansion of Irish startups, by providing access to resources and networking opportunities in areas such as social media, mobile, online advertising, digital agencies, search, analytics, video, e-commerce or other online-centric B2B or B2C plays.

Digital Irish host regular networking sessions in NYC where invited Irish startups pitch to our community, with asks that range from funding and talent to customer referrals. They formed Digital Irish Angels to provide a way for US based accredited investors to invest in, and support, early stage companies in Ireland. In addition they also help Graduates find work in NYC by sourcing companies that are hiring in the area.

In 2017 The Emigrant Support Programme was delighted to support Digital Irish and provide funding to assist with the important work they do.
