The Embassy of Ireland manages all aspects of Ireland’s relationship with Argentina, with secondary accreditations to Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. The promotion of economic ties between Ireland and the region is integral to the work of the Embassy. The Embassy wishes to recruit a Commercial Attaché to support the Embassy’s economic work.
Commercial Attaché
A Commercial Attaché to support, inform and shape the economic work of the Embassy of Ireland in Argentina.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyse and report on developments in the Argentinean economy, and in countries of secondary accreditation;
- Provide economic analysis and briefing to a range of stakeholders; and
- Actively contribute to the work of the Embassy in the region.
Profile
- Graduate/post-graduate qualification(s) in a relevant field (such as business/economics) and ideally with at least three years of work experience of relevant work experience (such as economic analysis and reporting, and communication of same).
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
