1-4 December 2016, Vienna will host an exciting new festival of Irish and Scottish music and culture. The event will take place from Thursday, 1 December to Sunday, 4 December with prominent musical acts, cultural lectures and, of course, Irish music sessions for all to enjoy.

This is a new and exciting development for Irish culture in Vienna. As well as exposure to top musical acts such as the phenomenally talented Jack L, this will also give people a chance to explore the history of the Irish and the Scots in Vienna in particular the history of the Schottenstift, and share and engage with the huge knowledge of Irish Culture at the University of Vienna’s Centre for Irish Studies.
