Irish violinists join Mosaique for a celebration of Bohemia

On Tuesday, February 7th, violinists Maighréad McCrann and Aileen Dullaghan will join the Mosaique team as they take an unconventional look at the music of Bohemian composer Antonín Dvoƙák. From his Gypsy Songs, celebrating the life of the travelling vagabond, to the glorious Piano Quintet in A major, there will also be performances by soprano Sarah Marie Kramer, violist Raphael Handschuh, cellist Julia Schreyvogel and pianist Deirdre Brenner, organizer of the annual Boyne Music Festival in Drogheda County Louth. Actress Patricia Aulitzky will also join Mosaïque to read texts from some of the iconic bohemian writers of the last century.

Those of you who attended the Mosaique show of all Irish music in March 2016 will know to expect a great evening, and to look forward to seeing Irish musicians tackle the music of other cultures.

Doors open at 6:30pm and the concert starts at 7:30pm. See http://www.mosaique.eu.com/ for more details.
