Ambassador Kelly hosted an event to launch and publicize the exhibition on 4 June in the presence of Irish design expert Steve Simpson (designer of the Jameson SPD 2015 bottle, which is included in the exhibition), who made an interesting presentation of his work in Irish and international design.

The exhibition theme is ‘Connections’ and the featured elements tell the story of Irish design both at home and abroad. The contents comprise a selection of 2D and 3D representations covering a broad spectrum of Irish design excellence across a range of disciplines, from architecture and engineering, to animation and graphic design, to fashion and textiles, to product and medical device design.
