The Embassy of Ireland in Tokyo is seeking to recruit an office manager. The role of the office manager is to oversee the day to day operations and to assist the diplomatic staff in carrying out their duties.

The Embassy of Ireland in Tokyo is seeking to recruit an office manager. The role of the office manager is to oversee the day to day operations and to assist the diplomatic staff in carrying out their duties.

1) Administration of the Embassy.
2) Prepare office accounts and manage the embassy bank account.
3) Supervision of local staff and personnel management.
4) Provide translation and interpretation assistance.
5) Liaison with outside companies and other organisations.
6) Support diplomatic staff in interactions with Japanese Government Ministries and agencies.
7) Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Ambassador.

Applicants should have management, accounting and administration experience, fluency in English & Japanese, excellent interpreting and computer skills. Work experience abroad and/or in a multicultural environment would be an advantage.
