How quickly can I get my passport?

The current standard processing time is approximately 4-6 weeks.

A temporary passport can be issued on the day only in the case of an emergency situation.

In all other circumstances, you will have to wait a minimum of ten working days to get a passport. Valid proof of confirmed travel (e.g. airline ticket/email) must be presented in order for any application to be processed sooner than the standard turnaround. The Embassy offers a ten-days-service at an extra fee of 55 euro. Please contact us immediately if you require a passport urgently.
