Minister Flanagan urges N.I. Political Parties to pull back from the brink

Ireland, Minister Charles Flanagan, Northern Ireland Peace Process, Press Releases, Northern Ireland, 2015

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Charlie Flanagan TD, has asked Northern Ireland’s political leaders to pull back from the brink. He stated:

“I urge Northern Ireland’s political leaders to pull back from the brink. A collapse of the power-sharing institutions will serve no useful purpose. The political talks now underway provide a critical opportunity to address genuine political concerns in a meaningful way and move forward positively in the best interests of the people of Northern Ireland.”
