A statement on the crash of China Eastern Airlines plane yesterday

22 March 2022The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Simon Coveney T.D., has expressed his condolences to the people of China on the loss of life as a result of yesterday’s plane crash in Guangxi province.
Minister Coveney said:
“I was deeply saddened to hear of the plane crash in Guangxi yesterday. This is a terrible tragedy for those most immediately affected but also for the people of China. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families at this sad time”.
