In 2012 the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Management Advisory Committee established the sub-committee on Gender Equality to develop a gender equality strategy for the Department.
The Audit Committee advises the Secretary General on the internal audit policies and strategies for the management of risk appropriate to the functioning of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and by so doing supports him in the discharge of his responsibilities as Accounting Officer of the Department.
