Tale of the Gael: Vienna (14 June 2016)

Following the success of their shows in 2015, the Embassy is once again delighted to present the wonderful "Tale of the Gael" for two evenings of music and song focused on Joyce’s Dublin as highlighted in “Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man”.

Tale of the Gael: Vienna (14 June 2016)

The performance will take the audience on a journey through Dublin, the city that ushered in the 1916 Rising, through music, song, anecdotes and the poetry of the day. The performance will inform and entertain whilst showcasing Dublin.

The performers will include:

• Mickey Dunne, uilleann pipes
• Deirdre Starr, vocals
• Catherine Rhatigan, Irish harp and narrator
• Robert Tobin, silver flute/whistle
• Dave Aebli, double bass/bouzouki

The evening will begin at 7pm with a drinks reception in the Altes AKH University Campus. The show will start at 8pm. All those wishing to attend are asked to let the Embassy know by using our Contacts Link. We would love to see as many of you there as possible for what promises to be an excellent evening.
