University of Vienna - Conference on Irish Modernism

The Centre for Irish Studies in the University of Vienna will hold a conference on Irish Modernisms: Gaps, Conjectures, Possibilities, in Vienna on 29 Sep - 1 Oct 2016

The conference will bring together literary scholars from across Europe to discuss the idea of Irish Modernism, and how it can be brought forward. Details of the programme can be found here.

The conference will also include "An Evening of Poetry with Neil McCarthy and Simon Haworth" at 19:30 on Friday 30 September (location tbc). This event is open to the public. Anyone wishing to attend, please contact the Embassy using the "contact us" tab.

The conference is jointly organised by Tamara Radak (University of Vienna), John Greaney (University College Dublin) and Paul Fagan (Salzburg University/University of Vienna).
