How quickly can I get my passport?

The Embassy accepts passport applications on Thursdays and Sundays only. No prior appointment is necessary.

The current standard processing time is approximately 4-6 weeks.
A temporary passport can be issued on the day only in the case of an emergency situation.

In all other circumstances, you will have to wait a minimum of ten working days to get a temporary passport. Valid proof of confirmed travel (e.g. airline ticket/email) must be presented in order for any application to be processed sooner than the standard turnaround.
