Emigrant Support Programme

We provide grants to Irish organisations which foster a more vibrant sense of community and Irish identity and we encourage closer links between Irish communities abroad and Ireland.

Presidential Award

The Presidential Distinguished Service Award for the Irish Abroad recognises sustained, distinguished service to Ireland, its communities abroad, or its international reputation by those living abroad

Irish Culture

Promoting Irish Culture is an important part of the Embassy's work. We work with key organisations to enhance the opportunities to enjoy Irish Culture, including music, poetry theatre and film.

St. Patrick's Day

Saint Patrick’s Day is a global celebration of what it means to be Irish and the Embassy uses the opportunity every March to celebrate and showcase Ireland.
