Doing Business with Ireland

How we can help

Ireland is consistently ranked as one of the best countries in the world in which to do business.

We are the only English-speaking country in the Eurozone, and one of the most open economies in the world. Ireland has invested heavily in education and infrastructure, and has the highest rate of graduates in Europe. The top-performing companies from around the world have chosen to locate in Ireland and Irish companies are globally-competitive in cutting-edge sectors.

At the Embassy and through our two Consulates General in China, we work closely with Irish enterprise development agencies to support trade, investment and tourism links between Ireland and China.

We:

  • Build awareness with key groups and sectors of what Ireland offers in terms of trade, investment and tourism.
  • Support Irish companies who are developing their business and partnerships in China.
  • Engage with Chinese companies as they build investment links with Ireland.
  • In collaboration with our enterprise agencies, work to develop export and investment opportunities for Ireland with China.
