How much does an Irish passport cost?

5-year passport for those under 18 years €45

As of October 2014 the embassy can no longer accept credit card payments for passports. Please leave this section of the application form blank.*All applications made by post are subject to a €7 postage fee.

We do not accept debit cards at the embassy, but you can pay cash.

Fees can also be paid by bank transfer from a Belgian bank account to the following account:

Emergency Travel Documents

An Emergency Travel Document costs €30. Any emergency documents issued outside of office hours or at weekends are subject to an additional fee of €80. 

If you choose to pay by bank transfer please include a copy of the bank transfer with your application.

Cash payments are only accepted if passport applicant applies personally at the Embassy; please do not send cash in postal application.

We do not accept debit cards. The Embassy accepts cash only.
