Consular Fees

The following is a list of the most common fees charged for Consular Services carried out by the Embassy of Ireland. For further details on these services please check the relevant section of our website.

FOREIGN BIRTH REGISTRATION

Over 18 years of age

• Registration plus Certificate: €270
• Non-refundable postage fee: €8
• Total: €278

Under 18 years of age

• Registration plus Certificate: €145
• Non-refundable postage fee: €8
• Total: €153

Payment is made by debit/credit card as part of the online application process.

CERTIFICAT DE COUTUME

Per Irish applicant: €60

Non- refundable postage fee:  €6

Total per Irish applicant: €66

Late fee

If you submit your application 28 days or less before the date of your intended marriage you’ll have to pay an additional fee of €60 per Irish applicant.

DECLARATION

Declaration R$220.00

The Embassy cannot accept credit card payments for Declarations. Payment can be made by bank transfer or PIX, please contact us and we will issue a “boleto” or provide details for a transfer via PIX.

Please note that a postal service fee of R$60 may also apply.
