St. Patrick's Day

Each year, on and around 17th March, the Irish national day – St. Patricks’s Day - is celebrated all around the world.

St. Patrick’s Day is a global celebration of what it means to be Irish; the spirit, the determination, the creativity and the indefinable something that makes us who we are.

On the occasion of the St.Patrick’s Day, the Embassy usually hosts a reception and is involved in various other special events either at schools, in business communities or other to promote Ireland and celebrate the national day.
