Processing of Passport Application

Applies to applications lodged through the Embassy of Ireland in Tallinn only.

Processing time

Current processing time when applying through the Embassy of Ireland in Tallinn, is 6-8 weeks. Once your passport has been issued, the Embassy will contact you and you will have to pick it up in person from the Embassy (the Embassy does not send passports or any documents by post).

The tracking system tracks your passport application from the time it arrives in Dublin.

You will also find your application number on the top left hand corner of the passport application form, directly below the barcode. It is very important to keep a record of the 11 digit application number as you will not be able to track your passport application without it. A peel-off sticker with the number can be found on the back page of the application form.
