Year in review 2017

2017 was a particularly busy year for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Together with our 80 missions around the world, we worked on Brexit negotiations, negotiated a new treaty banning nuclear weapons, launched a fully digital online passport service, issued over 770,000 passports and brought representatives of our global Irish community home to Ireland to discuss our relationship with the diaspora. This slideshow gives a flavour of our work in 2017, and more details will be available when our Annual Report is published later this year.
