Indonesia added to list of Designated States for Mandatory Hotel Quarantine

The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly TD, has announced his intention to add Indonesia to the list of designated States. The decision to add to the list of designated States was taken following advice received by the Chief Medical Officer.

People arriving into Ireland having been in or transited through one of the designated States in the previous 14 days must enter Mandatory Hotel Quarantine.

Passengers travelling from Indonesia arriving in Ireland after 04.00am on Tuesday 29 June are required to enter quarantine in a designated hotel. Full details on mandatory hotel quarantine, including information about exemptions for fully vaccinated travellers, can be found here.
