Ireland has an Honorary Consulate in Lagos which can advise Irish companies and provide assistance to Irish citizens in difficulties. The Honorary Consulate is responsible for Lagos, Ogun, Ondu, Osun and Oyo states.

Ireland's Honorary Consul in Lagos is Mr. Connie Guilfoyle. The Honorary Consulate is open from 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday and is contactable at the number and email address below. The Honorary Consulate does not handle visa applications or queries; see Visas for further information.

Irelands State Agencies

Enterprise Ireland is the Irish government organisation responsible for developing and growing Irish enterprises in world markets. It is a client-based organisation. Enterprise Ireland has a trade Representative in Lagos, Ms Thessa Brongers-Bagu, with whom the Embassy works closely. We also consult regularly with the Enterprise Ireland Country Manager for Nigeria.

Bord Bia is Ireland's food, drink and horticulture industry's trade development and promotion organisation. Bord Bia's African Markets Manager has a keen interest in developing links with West Africa.
