Please be advised that the Embassy of Ireland, Nigeria website has moved and this page is no longer being updated. The Embassy website is now available at Ireland.ie/abuja.

How can the Embassy assist me?

We can provide general information about Nigeria and its business environment.  Depending on your section of interest, we may be able to make useful introductions with Nigerian or Irish business people. While the Embassy is always happy to meet with Irish individuals working in West Africa, our commercial activities focus on opportunities which have the potential to increase expert growth and bilateral investment.

The Embassy of Ireland does not provide legal advice or conduct market research. The Embassy cannot conduct market research or carry out due diligence checks on your behalf. Knowing your market and your customer is essential in Nigeria. We strongly recommend that you contact a local consultant for market research and advice, due diligence checks and business introductions. While there are many consultants in Nigeria and the Embassy cannot recommend one above another, three companies we have either worked with or know have had relationships with foreign investors are:

1. Naijalink Ltd.

2. Infoplus Business Information Services (IBG Nigeria)

3. OR&C Consultants
