Contacting the Emergency Services in the Republic of Korea

Depending on the severity of the incident you encounter, you may want to first consider contacting your family and/or friends at home. They may be able to resolve your difficulty for you or help you to do so without further assistance.

If you cannot resolve the matter by yourself or with the assistance of family/friends, you can contact the Embassy.

All after- hours telephone callers to the Embassy at (822) 721-7200 will be given a separate number to call. This will put you in touch directly with an Embassy official. If necessary, you can also make direct contact with the Consular Assistance Unit at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Dublin on +353 1 408 2000.
