Where to apply

The address of the Embassy of Ireland in Riyadh is:

Diplomatic Quarter
P.O. Box 94349
Riyadh 11693
Saudi Arabia.

The location of the Irish Embassy is shown on this map.

Passport applications can be delivered by registered post or by a reputable courier without coming to the Embassy.  In cases where an approved passport is sent to the applicant by courier, the passport will only be returned by DHL which will also collect the passport fee from the applicant in addition to their own delivery fee.

Please note that for security and administrative reasons, the Embassy will only return documents by DHL and this is charged to the applicant.

We would encourage you to consult the relevant section of our website regarding the service you require before contacting the Embassy.

If you want us to send you a passport application form by post please e-mail or call us stating the delivery method you have chosen and we will send it out to you. If you need more than one form please let us know.

Application forms can be sent to you by courier but you will have to pay the courier fee. In Saudi Arabia this is approximately SAR 180 but can vary depending on the location. Deliveries outside of Saudi Arabia will cost more depending on the country.  The Embassy can send a single dispatch of application forms by Saudi Post within Saudi Arabia. Please that if the forms do not arrive or are delayed for an extended period of time, the applicant will have to make their own alternative arrangements to obtain the forms.

If you choose to post your application, we strongly recommend that you use registered mail or a reputable courier service. The Embassy cannot be held responsible for applications or documents lost in transit.
