St. Patrick's Day

Each year, on and around 17th March, the Irish national day – St. Patrick’s Day – is celebrated all around the world.

St. Patrick’s Day is a global celebration of what it means to be Irish: the spirit, the determination, the creativity and the indefinable something that makes us who we are.

On the occasion of St. Patrick’s Day, the Embassy usually hosts a reception, to celebrate with Irish and other nationalities present in Sierra Leone and to promote Ireland’s culture and unique heritage.
