If you are making a payment in respect of a paper application, please ensure that you pay any bank fees associated with the transfer. If you have a non-Eurozone bank account you can avoid expensive transfer charges by going in person to your nearest BBVA branch and lodging the fee in cash to our bank account. We strongly recommend that you use registered mail or a reputable courier service. The Embassy cannot be held responsible for applications or documents lost in transit. You must include a self-addressed prepaid “Postal Express” plastic envelope with your application; these are available from any Correos office. The alternative is to collect your new passport in person from the Embassy or your local Honorary Consulate, or arrange for a courier to collect it.

The Passport office is open to the public Monday to Friday from 10am-2pm. The phone line for passport queries is +34 91 4364093 Monday to Friday 9.30am-1pm. The best way of contacting the Passport office is by email.
