Emergency Assistance in Switzerland

If something goes wrong when you're in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Algeria and you need help, you can contact the Embassy in Bern or call the Consular Assistance Unit at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Dublin on +353 1 408 2000.

If you are an Irish citizen and require urgent assistance while the Embassy is closed, please dial the Embassy: +41 (0)31 350 03 80. A recorded message will provide the telephone number of the Duty Officer in Bern, which can be called in case of a genuine consular emergency that cannot wait until office hours.
