Oxfam Ireland Ambassador Andrew Trimble visits Embassy

The Embassy was delighted to welcome the Ulster and Ireland rugby player Andrew Trimble, who is an Ambassador for Oxfam Ireland

Mr Trimble met with Ambassador Gilsenan to highlight the work of Oxfam in Tanzania, a large portion of which is funded by Irish Aid.

In particular, Oxfam are supporting the humanitarian response to the Burundian refugees in Tanzania by providing water, sanitation and hygiene services within the camps. Mr Trimble was accompanied by Sorcha Nic Mhathuna, Oxfam Media lead for Oxfam Ireland and Allan Moolman, Oxfam Tanzania Head of Programmes.
