Our Consular Area

Information on our consular area and the services we provide in each state. 

The Consulate General in Austin works to promote and protect Irish interests in the US southwest, whether it is working with the Irish community, promoting Irish economic interests or supporting the strong partnership between Ireland and the states of the southwest US. We also provide selected consular services*.

Our consular area encompasses seven states:

• Arkansas
• Colorado
• Kansas (and Kansas City MO)
• Louisiana
• New Mexico
• Oklahoma
• Texas

* Please note that visa and passport services for the US southwest are provided by the Irish Consulates in Chicago and San Francisco.
