Boston College and Georgia Tech to open 2016 football season in Dublin

Consul General Breandán Ó Caollaí joined the Mayor of Boston Martin J. Walsh, BC Coach Steve Adazzio, Athletic Director Brad Bates, Tourism Ireland and Aer Lingus representatives to celebrate the news that Boston College and Georgia Tech will open the 2016 football season with a game at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on September 3rd 2016. BC’s football team, BC Eagles, first visited Dublin in 1988 for the Emerald Classic Isle Classic.
