To travel between Britain and Ireland?

We understand that all airlines except Ryanair accept photographic ID (such as a valid driver's licence) as evidence of identity for Irish or British citizens travelling between Britain and Ireland. We advise checking with your airline for confirmation.

If travelling on a passport, it must be valid.
