The Domestic Registered Post Envelope

Why do I need to provide a “Domestic Registered Post Envelope” as part of my application and where can I get one?

In order for the Consulate to post you your new passport, you must submit a self-addressed registered domestic post envelope that requires a signature upon delivery. This is to ensure the security of your passport. The envelopes can be purchased from Australian Post offices.
