Can a family member apply for a passport on my behalf in Ireland?

It is not possible for a family member to make an application on your behalf in Ireland. Irish citizens living in New South Wales must apply and complete their application in New South Wales for their passports. Applications made by family members in Ireland to the Passport Office there will be sent back.

Please note that in order to apply for a passport in Ireland, a witness there must verify that you are currently living in Ireland. Submitting an application with a false declaration is a serious office.
