Where do I send my application?

The Embassy of Ireland in Beijing, is located at:

Contact Us

The Embassy is open to the public from: 9:30 - 12:30 and 14:00 - 17:00 Monday-Friday.  If you choose to post your application, we strongly recommend you to use registered mail or a reputable courier service. The Embassy cannot be held responsible for applications or documents lost in transit.

If you live in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, or Anhui you should apply to the Irish Consulate in Shanghai.

If you live in Hong Kong or Macau, you should apply to the Irish Consulate in Hong Kong.

If you live in Taiwan, you can send your passport or FBR application to the Embassy in Beijing. We are unable to offer any other consular services or assistance in Taiwan – please contact the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade in Dublin for any help.
