Ambassador Conor Long

Welcome Message

Welcome to the website of the Embassy of Ireland in Cyprus. If you need further information about Ireland, Ireland in Cyprus or our services please contact us here.

Ireland and Cyprus are key partners in the European Union, working together to advance our many shared priorities through our membership of the EU. Our shared values and close political relations, as well as the many historical parallels between our two countries, are central to the strength of our bilateral relationship. Through cooperation in areas such as trade and education, and greater links in transport and tourism, we are working to support greater connections between our citizens. The Embassy is also working to promote awareness of Irish culture and heritage in Cyprus.

The Embassy is also working to support the Irish community in Cyprus, including both members of our long-term diaspora as well as those Irish visiting Cyprus. Support for our citizens in Cyprus is central to our role. I am honoured to serve as the Ambassador of Ireland to the Republic of Cyprus, and together with the Embassy team, to continue our work to strengthen relations between both countries.
