Directions to the Embassy

The Embassy is located close to Charles Bridge, at the heart of the city’s historic Malá Strana (Lesser Town). We share a floor with the Enterprise Ireland office. The nearest metro station is Malostranská, green line (approx. 10 mins walk). If going by tram, take number 22, 20 or 12 to Malostranské náměstí.

Embassy out of hours service

The Embassy of Ireland in Prague operates a weekend out-of-hours service for Irish citizens requiring emergency assistance in the Czech Republic.

If you need emergency assistance over the weekend, dial the Embassy switchboard at (+420) 257 011 280. The mobile telephone number of the duty officer will be available on the answering machine.

The Public Office is open from 14:30-16:30 Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the case of an emergency or by prior appointment.

Irish citizens travelling to or resident in Ukraine can register their details on line with the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade.

Passport applications, visa applications and other consular queries in Ukraine should be addressed, in the first instance, to the Honorary Consulate in Kiev.
