The fee depends on the type of passport you apply for:

These fees are effective from 30 March, 2017.

Adult 10 year 710 DKK
Adult large 10 year 930 DKK
Minor, age 0-17 years, 5 year passport 340 DKK
Emergency Travel Document 230 DKK
Additional Fees  
Out of hours fee** 600 DKK
Passport Certification Fee 300 DKK

** The fee is additonal to the fee for the passport itself.

The Passport fee must be lodged with the Embassy in cash, because the Embassy does not have the facilities for credit/debit card payments or a bank transfer.

*All applications made by post within Denmark are subject to a DKK140 postage fee. Applications made by post from Iceland are subject to a postal fee of DKK160.

We do not accept credit or debit cards. The Embassy accepts cheques drawn from a Danish bank account.

Cash payments are only accepted if passport applicant applies personally at the Embassy; please do not send cash in postal applications.

The Passport Section is open to the public from 10.00 - 12.30 Monday to Friday, and from 14.30-16.30 on Thursdays.

Passport applications can be delivered by post without coming to the Embassy.

We would encourage you to consult the relevant section of our website regarding the service you require before contacting the Embassy. Passport application forms can be ordered online.

If you choose to post your application, we strongly recommend that you use registered mail or a reputable courier service. The Embassy cannot be held responsible for applications or documents lost in transit.
