Can I apply online?

Irish Citizens who are over 18, and have previously held an Irish Passport can apply for their Passport Book and/or Passport Card online at https://www.dfa.ie/passportonline/.

If you are not eligible, or do not wish, to apply online, you can submit the paper application at the Embassy. Our How to Apply for a Passport will guide you through what you need to do to apply.
