Can I get my passport today?
The current standard processing time is approximately 4-6 weeks.
A temporary passport can be issued on the day only in the case of an emergency situation (such as the death or serious illness of a family member or in some cases for urgent business travel).
In all other circumstances, you will have to wait a minimum of 10 working days to get a passport. Valid proof of confirmed travel (e.g. airline ticket/email) must be presented in order for any application to be processed sooner than the standard turnaround. You may incur an additional fee.
