COVID-19 NOTICE
The Irish Authorities continue to advise against all non-essential travel overseas.
The Department of Foreign Affairs issues & regularly updates travel advice for a large number of countries across the globe, including for Luxembourg which can be viewed here. It also includes information on necessary steps when entering Ireland. More useful information can be found on the GOV.IE website and on the HSE website.
We advise all Irish citizens in Luxembourg to register their details with us so that we can contact you or your family in case of emergency. You can register online at the following link www.dfa.ie/travel/citizens-registration/
Luxembourg has made it compulsory to wear masks in public areas where distances of 1.5 metres cannot be maintained such as in shops, public transport and most work places. More information is available on the Luxembourg Health Ministry’s website.

Appointments to visit the Embassy must be made in advance by phoning us on +352 450610-1 or visiting the Contact Us page on our website.
Passports
The Passport Service is currently not processing paper applications and the Embassy is not in a position to accept paper applications. Irish citizens in Luxembourg can apply online for their passports at www.passport.ie
