If you have recently moved to Malaysia, it may be beneficial to meet with other Irish citizens who are part of a local organisation or business network that can provide you with general advice, information and guidance. Some Irish organisations and societies active in Malaysia are listed below.

Malaysia is generally welcoming to foreign workers. Although the official language is Bahasa Malaysia, English is widely spoken and is the dominant business language. Foreigners seeking employment in Malaysia need to be aware of the relevant labour legislation and registration requirements.
