Find out about our work in Romania

Embassy Team

Ambassador:

Mr. Derek Feely

First Secretary:

Mr. Patrick Coleman

Irish State Agencies

At the moment, there are no Irish state agencies physically represented in Romania. However, the Embassy of Ireland in Bucharest works closely with Irish state agencies to promote trade, tourism and investment.

Bord Bia

The Irish Food Board, known as Bord Bia, acts as a link between Irish food, drink and horticulture suppliers and existing and potential customers throughout the world.

Enterprise Ireland

Enterprise Ireland (EI) is the government organisation responsible for developing and growing Irish enterprises in world markets.

Tourism Ireland

Tourism Ireland markets the island of Ireland as a holiday destination overseas. It devises and implements world-class marketing programmes and provides industry partners with opportunities to market their own products and services alongside Tourism Ireland overseas.

Culture Ireland

Culture Ireland promotes Irish arts worldwide. They create and support opportunities for Irish artists and companies to present and promote their work at strategic international festivals and venues. They develop platforms to present outstanding Irish work to international audiences, through showcases at key global arts events, including the Edinburgh Festivals, the Venice Biennales and special initiatives such as the Imagine Ireland initiative in the United States (2011) and Culture Connects, the Culture Programme to celebrate Ireland's Presidency of the EU (2013).
