Emergency Contact Details

The Embassy’s working hours are 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with a one hour break between 12 and 1pm. If you require information outside these hours, please refer to the following options:

- If you are an Irish citizen with a genuine emergency requiring urgent consular assistance while the Embassy is closed, please contact us on +84 24 39743291 where you will be given details on how to contact an Embassy Duty Officer if needed. The remit of this Emergency Duty Officer is to deal with genuine emergency situations only. All other enquiries, including visa and other queries, should be directed to the Embassy during office hours.

- Alternatively, you can contact the Duty Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin at +353 1 408 2000.

- The Embassy of Ireland in Hanoi will be closed on these dates

Please note that Vietnam is 7 hours ahead of Ireland in winter, and 6 hours ahead in summer.
