Can my visa application be expedited?

In order to ensure that all visa applicants receive fair and equal treatment, applications are dealt with in the order that they are received.

Processing times vary between each Embassy or Consulate, please check the current processing times with your local Irish Embassy, Consulate, or Visa Office at the time of application. The current processing time for the Consulate in Boston is 5 business days, however, each application is treated on an individual basis.

In exceptional cases, where it can be demonstrated that extenuating circumstances exist, applications may be processed ahead of schedule.
