Emerald Isle Immigration Center
The Emerald Isle Immigration Center (EIIC) was founded in 1988 and is a not for profit entity created to exercise and protect the privileges and interests of the community; to foster a healthy interest in the civic affairs of the community, to help immigrants acquire US citizenship, and to inquire into civic abuses and seek reformation thereof.
Their services fall under three main areas:
- Immigration Information
- Social Service
- Employment & Education
In 2017 The Emigrant Support Programme was delighted to support the Emerald Isle Immigration Center and provide funding for three important projects:
- Immigration Counselling Services and Immigrant Welfare
- Organization Support
- Social Services Programme and Immigrant Welfare
